Teachers can sign in three ways. Pick whichever fits your district.
Email address only
Type your school email, you're in. No IT setup.
Magic link
One-click sign-in link sent to your school email.
Single sign-on
Google or Canvas. Also unlocks direct LMS import.

Teachers using Schoology can sign in with email only or magic link, then download a Common Cartridge file to import into Schoology by hand. There is no Schoology SSO and no API integration.
What we recommend
Start with email only or magic link — neither requires IT setup. If your district uses Google Workspace or Canvas, single sign-on is smoother because the same login also enables direct LMS import.
