MCP Resource Hub
Sign-On Methods

Single Sign-On

Sign in with the district's Google or Canvas account. Also unlocks direct LMS import.

The smoothest sign-in for districts using Google Workspace or Canvas. The same login also enables direct LMS import.

Microsoft 365 / Outlook is not supported

We don't support Microsoft / Outlook SSO today. Districts on Microsoft 365 should use magic link or email only — magic-link emails deliver to Outlook inboxes normally.

Google

Teachers click Sign in with Google and consent to the Hub accessing the Google Classroom permissions needed for import:

  • Read profile (name, email)
  • Read the courses they teach
  • Create assignments, materials, and topics in those courses

We never read student rosters, grades, or submissions.

District IT helps Google sign-in by marking the Hub as a Trusted app in the Google Admin Console — about 5 minutes for a Google Workspace super admin.

Canvas

Teachers click Sign in with Canvas and complete Canvas's standard OAuth consent screen. They grant two read-only scopes at sign-in:

  • Read profile (name, email)
  • Read the courses they teach

Write access for imports is requested separately at import time, so teachers see exactly what they're authorizing for each step.

Canvas SSO requires a Canvas admin to install OAuth credentials for the Hub. We send your admin a secure setup link so credentials never travel through email.
